Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Overview
Clinic Pixel Audit helps clinics, agencies, and website operators scan public webpages for tracking pixels, analytics tags, marketing scripts, and related technical evidence. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our website and services.
We build a privacy-review tool, so we hold ourselves to the standard we audit: our own website runs no advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookies we set are strictly functional session cookies that keep you signed in to your reports and dashboards — no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, website domain, organization name, billing plan, and any message or support details you send us. If you start a paid subscription, payment details are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
When you run a scan, we collect and store public technical evidence from the submitted website, such as page URLs, page titles, visible page text snippets, browser runtime network requests, detected script hosts, detected tracking vendors, consent-related signals, scan timestamps, scores, and report results. The scanner is intended for public websites and does not require portal access, passwords, or patient records.
We may also collect basic operational data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, error logs, and usage activity needed to keep the service secure, reliable, and abuse-resistant.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide scans and monitoring, generate reports, send scan links and service emails, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve the product, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or security obligations.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers that host and operate the product — currently Stripe (payments and billing), Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database), Railway (scan workers), Resend (transactional email), Proton (business mailbox), and Cloudflare (DNS). These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, under their own security and privacy commitments.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse or security issues, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Healthcare And Sensitive Information
Clinic Pixel Audit is designed to inspect public website behavior, not to collect patient records or provide medical services. Do not submit patient records, portal credentials, protected health information, or other sensitive personal information to the service. Reports provide technical evidence and operational guidance; they are not legal advice or a compliance certification.
Prospective Customers
If we contact your practice or agency about the product, we use business contact information (such as name, role, and work email) gathered from public sources. Every such message identifies who we are and includes a simple way to decline further contact, which we honor.
Retention
We keep scan reports, account records, monitoring records, billing records, and operational logs for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, improve security, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your account or scan data, subject to legal, security, or backup retention requirements.
Your Choices
You may choose not to provide optional information, unsubscribe from marketing emails, cancel paid monitoring, or request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your account. Service and transactional emails, such as scan links, billing notices, and security messages, may still be sent when needed to provide the service.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for submitting only websites you are authorized to scan and for keeping any admin or account credentials confidential.
Children
Clinic Pixel Audit is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify customers, such as updating the date on this page or sending an email notice.
